Firearms-related businesses in Wisconsin say they are having a difficult time meeting demand from rising gun sales in the state.
Wisconsin's gun sales follow a national trend, and businesses say the rising demand is being driven by various factors, from Wisconsin's concealed carry law to presidential politics.
"It's incredible," said Steve Lauer, owner of Lauer Custom Weaponry, which manufactures firearms, firearm coatings and accessories in Chippewa Falls. "We can hardly keep up."
Exact figures on firearms sales don't exist, but based on the number of calls made to the FBI and Wisconsin Department of Justice for background checks related to firearms purchases, more guns are being sold this year than ever, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel (http://bit.ly/KuIrD8) reported Sunday

Leftists, do you understand that we’re not going to let “la Revolucion” happen here without YOUR blood running in the streets along with ours?
I wish I was uncertain. If it really is a choice between Obama and Romney, there is no uncertainty on whether they will support our God-given rights that are supposed to be legally inviolate under the Second Amendment - unfortunately. That's why I'm buying. I have no doubt that investments in high-quality steel and lead will hold their value far better than cash will. Plus, those particular metals are far more practical than the materials used in jewelery.
I spoke with the owner of the gun club I belong to last weekend. He said that the club has a waiting list of 6 months. He also stated that Glock had told him they have an order backlog of 300,000 weapons.
Wisconsin gun sale ping
FReep Mail me if you want on, or off, this Wisconsin interest ping list.
Can’t you just build a wall around Madison and have it declared and official insane asylum?
The virtual invasion of leftist union nutballs trying to unseat Scott Walker no doubt has something to do with it.
How does a gun club have a waiting list of 6 months? Can’t they just join and be done with it?
Our club has around 500 members right now and getting lane reservations is already pretty tough during the high times, weekends etc. The owner said he could build on additional lanes with a new second story but won’t in the current economy, ie: until Obozo is gone!!
Maybe your club members could do a fundraising drive to get that new second story built.
I don’t think having Romney in office is going to be any better since he is a Progressive (aka Regressive) just like Obama.
Very few businesses are going to be foolish enough to invest ANY money in expansion or hiring while this fascist is in power.
Just have to replace all of the guns lost to horrendous boating accidents ...
