Yesterday President Obama awarded radical open border advocate Dolores Huerta with the Medal of Freedom, the highest honor a civilian can receive. There's just one problem: Huerta is an honorary chair of the Democratic Socialists of America and likes to pal around with Hugo Chavez.

Failed socialist wealth distribution policies sometimes can have that effect when working people, conned by the leftmedia into believing Obama was so darn 'historic' and 'moderate' they would have been almost unpatriotic not to vote for him, wake up. Four long years later, with our economy in free fall, perhaps voters will face the reality that Obama the alien is not only inept but rejects just about everything that made America great and is striving to convert the land of the brave and the home of the free into the land of the dole and the home of slaves to the government. Perhaps, this time, the GOP presidential candidate will actually confront Obama on his failures and radical ideology. Perhaps.

I’m wondering if anyone noticed the irony in Obama’s Memorial Day speech about how badly Vietnam vets were treated and what a travesty it was, only to walk right over and give the Medal of Freedom to anti-war activists and soldier-haters, Bob Dylan and Dolores Huerta. I’d add Toni Morrison, but I could never understand anything she said.

What Rush failed to mention is that almost every recipient is liberal. In one instance there is a Marxist. My working vocabulary does not supply me with a word powerful enough and descriptive enough that adequately describes this SOB. sd

Like the “Democratic German Republic”, i.e. Communist East Germany, or the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, i.e. Stalinist North Korea. The left always loves to capture and bastardize words which were intended to stand for the good and true (see: gay, rainbow, inclusive, equality, freedom, responsibility, etc.)
No, they mean democracy because it destroys liberty and leads to tyranny which is their end goal. A republic is the golden mean for government and a republic keeps the elites in check.
Not a thing in history is good about democracy. We’re a republic for a reason. Conservatives need to know why.

This is why liberals love to call America a “representative democracy”. It tricks children who then grow up to vote.
Will anybody but Rush denounce this ? He at leastgoes to 20 million but imagine if the RNC or Mitt himself questioned this award .
