I could use some parts off the Jennings and Phoenix Saturday Night Specials that are being turned in. Once set up properly, they’re fun little guns.
I always think of the term “buyback” as if the guns belonged to the cops to start with. How can the buy back what was never theirs?

I wish they’d have a gun buyback program in my neighborhood. I have an old Ithaca M-66 SuperSingle shotgun with a cracked and unrepairable frame that I’d love to sell for $100.
Some wit could have fun with this, publicizing the next buy back is for $100 in crack rocks. They would probably get more guns from the flea-brains out there.

What they really need is a criminal turn-in program.
Just so long as no one figures out that gun buy backs are just a way to disarm Blacks so it will be easier to round them up when the time comes.

I would like to find one of the lines to turn guns in and offer them $150 per gun for the nice ones. I’d make a bundle reselling them.

You probably had twelve well-meaning people who turned in their guns because they felt guilty for having them in the first place.
Against these gun buy-backs, I will say that if you’re stupid enough to run one of them, a place with a name like Fruitvale is certainly a good choice.
If I had a crappy non working gun I’d take the 100 bucks to put towards a new gun.
