These people do not know how to behave in a civilized society and are very dangerous.

And yet, Michael Bloomberg insists that widespread gun ownership means that America is not civilized.

I could go for the cheap shot and say that Mr. Bloomberg thinks there's too many equalizers, but his opinion does reveal something about moneyed folks. All too often, they shrink from the need to prepare to fight back personally. It's as if business genius and self-defense preparedness mix like oil and water. Not in all cases, of course, but frequently.
