I love these threads because I owned a bicycle shop in that center in the 80’s. It was at the far end to the right of Ledo Pizza (it was Pizza Oven then). The restaurant on the far corner (moonbat alley) was built ‘88 or ‘89.

Looking at Google Earth images of Olney, I hardly can tell what is what. When I was a kid, 97 and 108 was a 4 way stop.

I remember our discussion about your bike shop and all that has changed in Olney. [Mrs] T and I arrived here after the 4 way stop had been replaced with a light. Finnyfrocks was still there though.

The “moonbat alley” restaurant sure has under gone a lot of different changes.

Glad we can keep you up on “progress” in Olney.

[Mr] T

OMG! Pizza Oven! THAT’s the place my family stopped at for GREAT pizza in Olney after a bike ride at the C&O c. 1982.

I’ve hardly been in Monty Co. but when we’ve been through Olney lately (I have a friend now who lives nearby), I don’t recognize it compared to that time at Pizza Oven. I can’t figure out where it had been - glad someone mentioned it to help me get my bearings!
