Sure. *alien bioengineering* works but don't tell us God made everything.
Just like they scoff at the idea of angels and demons and take seriously ET's.
Or sneer at heaven and hell and turn around and offer up *alternate dimensions or universes*.
I guess it's just who thought it up and what they call it.
If life was seeded from highly intelligent ET’s, where did THEY come from? Were they seeded from somewhere else?
And where would that be?
It ends up either being turtles all the way down, or getting back to one uncaused cause, aka God.
Thanks for the ping Metmom - too long to read for now, but will follow up as time allows.
If life was seeded from highly intelligent ETs, where did THEY come from?
Spirited: Spontaneous generation of life from nonlife is the only answer. Crick’s “panspermia” stumbling block.
Had the words, “In the beginning God created...” never been spoken, Western materialists could get away with their abiogenesis scam. But God Spoke, and His Words have been a stumbling block ever since.
Thanks for the beep!
“Anything but the Lord Jesus” is the basic preference for such, as “space seed” theories do not make moral demands.
Militant acerbic atheist Christoper Hitchens stated,
My own view is that this planet is used as a penal colony, lunatic asylum and dumping ground by a superior civilization, to get rid of the undesirable and unfit. I can’t prove it, but you can’t disprove it either. It happens to be my view, but it doesn’t challenge any of the findings of Darwin or Huxley or Einstein or Hawking. - “A day in the intellectual glare of Hitchens: Contrarian opines on religion to his crowd of followers,” by Joseph Brean, National Post (2006-11-18}
“My own view is that this planet is used as a penal colony, lunatic asylum and dumping ground by a superior civilization, to get rid of the undesirable and unfit...”
Spirited: Hitchens admits that there really is something very wrong about mankind. Not himself of course, just the “others.”
Indeed, for left to their own objectively baseless moral reasoning, they are the moral supremacists, as God.
Hitch being, of course, the Earths most outstanding example of a penal colony lunatic that has been dumped here.
I cant prove it, but you cant disprove it either.
Its your assertion. Its yours to prove. Even if you are a dump of a penal lunatic, you know the drill.
My own view is that Hitch is a particularly vile piece of human waste. I cant prove it, but Hitch cant disprove it either.
‘He’s dead, JIm’
Amen!
Flowing under and through Hitchen’s viewpoint is the proud elitism so typical of our times. It cannot and will not tolerate a Mind above it’s own mind or an Authority above its’ own will.
Fyodor Dostoevsky described elitists as the “terrible-willed” ones. They will have their way in this world and will tolerate no dissent. If you stand in their way they will run you over.
But at the moment of death, when their bodies die, thus releasing their immortal souls unto eternity, they will discover that though they had their way in this world, they will not have it in eternity. They will come face to face with He Whom they utterly denied and discover that He does exist, as do heaven and hell.

‘Cosmic Evolution: It’s Just a Going Through a Face’ ... should ‘face’ be phase? How seriously can we take this link if the writer is so inept?
To lose phase in public like that...how embarrassing!
Sirius Lee: "To lose phase in public like that...how embarrassing!"
No. "Face" can't be "phase", unless you're a flatlander, which is what would really be embarrassing.
