Palin denies withholding support for Romney
The Daily Caller ^

Posted on 06/25/2012 1:00:46 PM PDT by mnehring

In an appearance on the Fox News Channel’s “Hannity” on Tuesday, Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin told Sean Hannity that the reason why she didn’t endorse presumptive GOP nominee Mitt Romney during a Las Vegas speech this weekend was because she couldn’t.

The Daily Caller had pointed out on Tuesday that former Palin did not even mention Romney in her speech. But, Palin told Hannity, that doesn’t mean that the 2008 Republican vice-presidential nominee isn’t supporting the former Massachusetts governor.

“There was a reason I did not mention Gov. Romney in my speech at the Americans for Prosperity Foundation event and RightOnline over the weekend, and that’s because I would have violated the ground rules for Americans for Prosperity Foundation. That you couldn’t violate their — I don’t know if it is a 501(c)3 — whatever the classification is of their organization.”

“No one mentioned Gov. Romney in their speeches nor endorsed anybody because that wasn’t what the conference was about. My role in the conference as a matter of fact in the conference was to point out the hypocrisy, the double standards and weakness of the old media and how the new citizen journalist media can rise up and take the place of what the old media used to represent and that is telling the truth and the facts to voters.”

Palin then went on to make it clear she was supporting Romney.

“I have said from day one and Sean, I think you said the exact same thingL It has been anybody but Obama. We have a presumptive nominee in the GOP process after a good competitive and very spirited competition to find that presumptive nominee,” Palin said. “And, yes, if that vote were to be taken today obviously I would vote for — for Gov. Romney over President Barack Obama in a heartbeat. I wouldn’t blink because I go back to what I said at the beginning — anybody but Obama.”

Clear-headed thinking. Admirable way of stating the case.

Hypothetical. Obama beats Mitt in Nov. What’s gonna happen then that destroys any ability to recover?

“Drinking the KoolAid” refers to”

I’m well aware of what the KoolAid means, and our Republic is already Beyond the Breaking Point, so the KoolAid is not hyperbole or inappropriate.

4 years of O’Romney (and I do expect to get flamed for this) could even be Worse than 4 more of Obama, because a whole lot of the Centrists and Moderates in our country are going to sit down and shut up when Romney does Exactly the same thing to them that Obama has been doing to them.

It happened in California when the RINOs shoved the Governator out ahead of McClintock who had a huge base of voter support as a Budget Slasher. And everybody swallowed Arnold and said they thought he’d surprise them. Well he certainly did.

If Obama beats Romney, those otherwise silent Centrists and Moderates are going to rise up and put their feet down, hard. They are going to go out into the street with the no more of this nonsense conservatives, with signs, they are going to call their Congress Critters, and they are going to make waves.

Flame On in 5,4,3,2,1,

Romney is the Godfather of Obama”care.”

Obama”care” is the Death Knell for the United States of America.

The USA Federal Government is broke, and is forced to borrow 3 1/2 BILLION dollars from our grandchildren EVERY DAY!

This then is the Federal Grandchildren Tax, or FGT, separate from the FIT or Federal Income Tax that only 51 % of us pay.

2012 is the third year of the American Taxpayer Revolt, in spite of what our sorry politicians and apathetic Liberal Agenda Media try to tell us.

The Silent Majority is silent no more.

If Romney is elected he has promised to “keep the best parts” of Obama”care” and send it back to each of the 50 States, resulting in the Death Knell of each of the 50 States that choose to keep the Obama”care” Death Knell.

Right now there is a 50-50 chance that Obama will get re-elected.

No matter that Obama was the worst Federal Financial Steward EVER!

If Obama gets re-elected he will just declare, by Executive Order, that Obama”care” is legal, and thus the demise of America will be accomplished during his Reign of Obamanation.

If THE NINE SUPREMES knock down ANY part of Obama”care,” then Senate Minority Leader Son-of-a-Mitch McConnell and Esteemed Sobber-of-the-House Boehner will rush to replace the Court-damaged parts of America’s Death Knell.

The only possible positive outcome will be to ABOLISH FOREVER Obama”care.”

America cannot afford to continue Federal programs to buy votes with debt that we charge to our Grandchildren.

BTW, it is all very simple as illustrated by the words of Paul Harvey: “ WHEN YOUR OUTGO EXCEEDS YOUR INCOME, YOUR UPKEEP WILL BE YOUR DOWNFALL.”

What’s gonna happen then that destroys any ability to recover?

_________________________________________

1) The EPA regulations destroy industry and farming.

2)Forty years of a Sotomayor SCOTUS

3)No more Israel because we sat and watched while the MB led forces of Egypt joined with Iran to crush them.

4) Fifteen million new spanish speaking voters who would guarantee two generations of Banana Republic style marxism

5) No new drilling anywhere.

6) China gets Canada's oil.

7) Putin runs wild.

Other than these and a dozen or so other second term eventualities...not much.

I think the executive usurpation of power continues.

Three hard left SC justices get appointed.

The economy continues to decline, and entitlements grow, funded by Baraqqi/Bernanke/Geithner minibucks.

Flow of illegals is encouraged cementing Democrat majorities in key states.

No flamethrower here. We agree. Was not educating you about “Drinking the KoolAid”. Was attempting to show that Palin does not die a political death for not opposing the presumptive Republican nominee. But she feels it is necessary at this time to give lip-service; she still hasn’t endorsed him because he really ISN’T the nominee just yet. Just the probable nominee. Until August anyway.

"Compromise" was a dirty word to them and they wouldn't face the fact that we couldn't get all of what we wanted today. They wanted all or nothing and they wanted it all at once. If you don't get it all, some said, don't take anything. "

Now that she is rich she should run for Governor of Alaska. She owes it to them to actually work for a full term.

You're assuming she would win.

FRiend, if you were assured justly, you would
defend Mr. RomneyCARE, instead of relying
on ad hominem. [typical of Team Romney].

Furthermore, YOU claim failure to support Romney FEES,
Romney Death-Panels, RomneyCARE, and Romney-DNCJudges,
is “sad” and “immature”.

What planet are you on?

“RINO” is an outdated term that no longer represents those that it once identified... that would be republicans with a strong progressive core and ideological differences with what the gop once stood for. The gop/e now totally controls the party and it's agenda is one of progressive activism and big central government control... and Conservatives are now the minority in the gop membership.

You are using the exact same words in your first sentence that harry reid used against the TEA Party and Conservatives just two weeks ago... and he did it from the well of the Senate.

And your summation indicates you feel the political philosophies of Sarah Palin, Dick Cheney, Herman Cain, Rick Perry, and Michelle Bachman are wrong.

“How is practicing RINO Republicanism by a, possible, Romney administration, for the next four years, if not, even, longer, a very good thing for long-term conservatism?”

Exactly. 8 years of big government for Jesus Dumbo Dubya netted us a disaster of an economy and the Obama Administration. What’s that about repeating history?
