To such minds, walking out one’s front door is unsafe and deadly. But what of the people who built the house, eh?

The low levels of radioactive uranium that are found in natural deposits are plainly too low to cause any health problems. And the uranium is already there anyway. It’s just not being mined, so you’d think if there were problems, then they would already be apparent.

I was watching a documentary recently where a nuclear engineer was commenting on the danger of uranium. He stated that even one of the more highly enriched pellets of uranium that they use in a nuclear power plant is not so highly enriched that it is dangerous to handle. He stated that you could hold it with your bare hand to inspect it.

Uranium once stopped the greatest human meat grinder ever seen and has deterred it since.

Lighten up, people.

“The CNSC [Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission] ensures that the air quality in a uranium mine is tightly controlled with good ventilation. As a result, the lung cancer risk for today’s uranium mining and processing workers is the same as that for the general Canadian public.”

There were hundreds of mines in the past in my area. It took many huge loads of uranium to make a gram of radium. Only the miners who smoked in the old, dusty mine environment showed any obvious higher incidence of lung cancer. And that was quite a few decades ago.

Uranium's not the problem in extreme cases anyway. It's radon. The answer is ventilation. Radon decays out of uranium within minutes, from, for example, water in a bathtub. Same in a cistern. Ventilate.

NIMBYs are the real problem (both political parties). The coming bond collapse and decades-long residential real estate collapse will take care of them shortly. Chew on that, NIMBYs.

And if you live near NIMBYs, fence 'em out with goat fence. Then put some "no trespassing" signs up, or...

"Breakin'" [your] "mind"

Cost wise....

Burning Uranium is like Burning GOLD!

Burning Thorium is like Burning LEAD!

Which is more plentiful?

Which costs less?

Why are we burning GOLD?

It is illegal to use the law to harass an individual, a company or an industry. Sue the SELC for all costs incurred due to their actions plus enough damages to bankrupt them through two or three years of donations.
