Ya think? I don’t think that permission is needed once it’s been aired on public airways.

Two things:

I don't think Romney needed permission to run that Hillary footage from the 2008 campaign.

Damn, Hillary has aged big time in over the last four years!

I don’t think they had to get permission from anyone to run that. Just like Obama does not have to get permission to use clips of what the other GOP candidates said about Romney during the Primary Season. You can use news clips.
