The National Weather Service said temperature reached 104 degrees around 3 p.m. on Friday at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport, breaking a 78-year-old record high for the month of June. The heat index, which reflects what the temperature feels like after humidity is factored in, was 111 degrees.

Sorry, just can’t generate empathy or sympathy when it hits 100+ in the northeast. It was 106/109 in central Texas on Tuesday, didn’t make the news.

Only makes sense that with all the devils there, it’d only follow suit D.C. would turn into hell.
It ended very hot, but most of the month was cooler than normal.
