I believe you are correct. Romney is following the same strategy that worked well for him during the primaries.

He’ll bait Obama into wasting all his ammunition too early and will then proceed to unleash a massive attack from multiple fronts in the weeks leading up to the vote.

An ideological battle at this point would be a diversion. It’s much better to let the bad economic news dominate the headlines. They are essentially free attack ads against Obama.

I think you have nailed Mitt’s game plan. He will unleash a massive attack using Hussein’s own words during September and October much in the way he blew Newt out of the water in the Florida primary.

The Rat talking points (off-shore accounts, job sourcing, Let homes foreclose etc.) will be worn out this Fall and proved to be twisted truth.

The conservative turnout must be stimulated by the right choice Mitten’s makes for his VP. A milk toast candidate will cost Romney dearly. He must select a tea party firebrand that will rock the house!

I agree and think this is indeed Mitten's strategy. Everyone who is attacking Mitt saying he needs to go on offense is missing the point.

Hjay is correct romney does not want his campaign to peak too early and the romney people are forcing Obama to spend faster than he can bring money in plus the challenger receives nine or more of the undecided vote on election day

Romney is in very good shape and there are only four more job reports before election day
