This treaty is legally irrelevant. The Senate will prevent ratification forever (or until our country is dead and it doesn’t matter). The treaty is also politically crucial. This is clear proof that Fast and Furious represents the official position of the thugs in our White House. They want to take away the rights of real Americans, those of us who “cling to God and to guns”, by any means necessary. Obama disgusts me. Ay, there's the rub.

Just look around here on FR. There is quite the schism on the Right and a great many who say steadfastly that they will never vote for Romney.
Thereby handing Obama his second term.

They believe a viable 3rd party candidate will appear like magic, solidify the Right and beat Obama. As much as I'd like that to happen, I'm a realist.

Not so!

Once the administration signs the treaty, regardless what Congress does or does not do, executive & agency actions will be determined by terms of that treaty.

Note: "determined" versus "mandated" or even "necessitated"...The powers that be will simply act as though the signature will eventually be approved in congress.

By the time congress & the states actually say NO, it's too late.

The Senate didnt’t ratify the “Migratory Bird Treaty” provisions that Clinton wanted, he just passed an Executive Order.

The Senate didn’t ratify Agenda 21, and it is being implemented.

All Obama has to do is decree an Executive Order on Dec. 31, 2012 that this UN anti-gun treaty is the law of the land in the USA, and PRESTO! it is.

No Senate ratification required.
