Well I would be happy to see Mitt come out swinging. I'm so sick and tired of the milquetoast "reach-across-the-aisle" nice-guy shtick that Republican candidates of the past 30 years have shown us.

That Christie guy in New Jersey is probably a bit over-the-top but Romney needs to be a little more like him. Americans love a fighter.

The most infuriating moment in my political memory is when G.H.W. Bush got all tongue-tied when Clinton said “You are questioning my patriotism”.

Bush should have gotten right in his face and said “Damn right, I am!”

Clinton dissed his country while studying overseas. Clinton visited Moscow at the height of the Cold War and at a time when the KGB would have taken intense interest in any politically motivated American kid on their territory.

There are more examples, but that is good for a start.
