They were marketed mostly by GE, Philips and Sylvania.
GE doesn't pay taxes, and Sylvania is really Osram Sylvania and that's part of Siemens. Then, there's Philips ~ one of those Anglo-Dutch things.
When it comes to lightbulb advertisements they show their Chinese bulbs.

??????My son has worked for Osram for twenty five years. Up until the Government decreed that incandescent lighbulbs would be phased out; the factory made these little glass things I could have sworn were incandescent bulbs. Where did you say you’re from? ;)
