According to Karl Rove, Romney is outspending Obama with ads in teh swing states. Just maybe you don’t all live in swing states and don’t realize that?
And thus all this gnashing of teeth the past two weeks on our side was total crap. Romney has the money to spend...they like where they are in July...a President burning through his campaign money and still sitting in the mid-40s.
As always, I clarify my opinion that Romney was probably my last choice in the field, but he beat the rest. While I don’t have high confidence in him for his presidency, I do not think his campaign is lacking in effective leadership. If they saw they were falling in the polls, they would act accordingly. Instead, I believe they see a cornered Rat, and one that is blowing their only real potential Ace in the class warfare Bain attacks...in June and July. It is a desperation move, and one that is not seeing any real impact in the polling.
He’s spending money at the worst possible time...in July. It has to be sheer desperation, doing something for the sake of doing something. It wouldn’t matter if he spent 10 times that much, no one is listening now. TV watching is at its lowest point. It’s probably hurting him if anything because people absolutely hate political commercials and to be getting them in the summer probably just pisses off the people that are actually seeing them.
Whatever happened to that much ballyhooed “billion dollar” campaign that Obama was going to use against us to roll to victory like the Germans in Poland?

That gap, at this stage, not taking into account turnout, tells me it’s going to be something like 50-32.
And after four years of failure, he still gets 44% support!!!???
I think this is an amazing amount of support in light of his record of dubious accomplishments.
With his lucrative fundraising efforts in the Peoples Republic of China giving the peaceloving reformers of the Chinese Communist Party an opportunity to participate in American democracy, Mr. Obama may have unlimited funding.
