The "Super PAC" backing Republican presidential hopeful Mitt Romney saw its best fundraising month yet in June, raising some $20 million and by far outpacing its chief rival group backing President Barack Obama.

The pro-Obama Super PAC, Priorities USA Action, also had its best fundraising month in June but brought in $6.1 million.

I'm probably being much too sensitive, but these fund-raising stories seem to fall into two categories:

1) "President Obama remains popular across the country, as millions of dollars in donations flood into campaign headquarters. Campaign officials were gratified by the outpouring of affection."

2) "Evil super PACs managed by greedy tycoons continue to funnel enormous campaign contributions to unindicted felon Mitt Romney. While questions about his time at Bain persist, that hasn't stopped his ultra-rich friends from throwing money at his right-wing effort to bring down America's first black president."

Whatever happened to the "much-ballyhooed" billion dollar campaign that Obama was preparing to steamroller us with?

To show how desperate the Obama campaign is, we need go no further than Obama's idiotic class-warfare statement that business owners really had nothing to do with their success and that it was the government that did it for them.

At a time when an incumbent president should be reaching out to the center to grab some independents, this president is desperately trying to shore up his base.

It is in the liberal media’s interest to publicize that the Obama campaign is behind, whether or not it is true, to movitate its troops and donors.

It's hanging out with those millions of jobs he was going to create.

I sure hope that you are right. Bro needs to go in November. A lot of Hussein’s stealth fundraising appears to be taking place abroad including communist China, the dollar figures totally under the media’s radar.

Obamugabe is the worst occupier of the Oval orifice ever.

I am amazed anyone is stupid enough to donate their hard earned (or otherwise) money to his cult.

It could also have the opposite effect. Obomobots for three+ years have been indoctrinated as to the infallibility of their messiah. They have as some here have said been promised a “billion dollar campaign” to secure another term for “the one”.

He is now looking all to fallible and vulnerable and to a class of people, liberals, whose very day to day existence depends on their emotional barometer, anything but the best and most positive of news will discourage them.

You scared me there at first guy. I thought those were your words, then I realized you were displaying how the media presents this fund raising thing. Am I right?

You raise a valid point. BHO’s support base could get discouraged and abandon him.
