At least 14 people have been killed in a shooting at a Batman film premiere in the US city of Denver, police say.
About 50 people have been injured in the incident at the cinema complex in the suburb of Aurora.
Witnesses say a gunman wearing a gas mask opened fire during a midnight showing of The Dark Knight Rises.
A man was arrested in a car park nearby in possession of a rifle and hand-gun. He told police that explosives were stored at his home.
Police chief Dan Oates told reporters that an apartment block in the north of Aurora had been evacuated as a consequence of that information.
More weapons may have been left in the cinema, he said.

Why was there an early report that he was in the country legally ?
I went to the source linked by the YouTube poster but no mention of any “Mohammed Alam.”
Either the source was changed or someones pulling a prank.
The youtube link has a link to the story on a local tv station site and there is no mention of a guy named Mohammad Alam.

Looks like it was the Century theater in Saudi Aurora (sorry, just like that label). Good odds it was a muslim, as the area is pretty loaded with them.
Now I’ve never been to that theater, but I’ve been to other Cinnemark theaters (go to one in Pueblo rather often). Now this may be a local decision in Pueblo, but the one down there has a ‘no firearms’ sign on the door so you can get in trouble if you’re a CCW holder and take on in.
Of course assuming that the one in Aurora had the same sign (corporate policy of this sort being generally universal), it sure did them a lot of good. I guess it kept the shooter safe.

If you read the text starting at the :10 second mark; you will see the name ‘Mohammad Alam’, credited to Police Chief Oates...prank? Perhaps. There is so much disinfo being pumped out nowadays; it is nigh impossible to get the truth about anything...
Brian Ross already made the false connection that there is a Tea Party member in Colorado with the same last name as the captured perp. The Tea Party guy fingered by Ross is 50 and the perp in his twenties.
The Left is going to use this to seriously harm conservatives and the second amendment, no matter the motive of the perp.
