Colorado Batman shooting shows obvious signs of being staged.

... Intro Stuff....

There is already conjecture that James Holmes may have been involved in mind-altering neuroscience research and ended up becoming involved at a depth he never anticipated. His actions clearly show a strange detachment from reality, indicating he was not in his right mind. That can only typically be accomplished through drugs, hypnosis or trauma (and sometimes all three).

Suggesting that someone zombied the shooter into it.

Color me skeptical, he probably was capable of getting himself into that mischief all on his lonesome, but who knows if he had a sidekick.

Funny stuff. Couldn’t get past the first paragraph.

“There is already conjecture that James Holmes may have been involved in mind-altering neuroscience research and ended up becoming involved at a depth he never anticipated.”

O RLY? Any sources? Preferably not ramblings from nutty blogs.

“His actions clearly show a strange detachment from reality, indicating he was not in his right mind. That can only typically be accomplished through drugs, hypnosis or trauma (and sometimes all three).”

You seem to forget good all fashioned insanity.

Anyway, good stuff.

Interesting. Very interesting. I would put NOTHING past this current administration to achieve an objective - or even Muslims.

That would be dirt on the level of when the CIA slipped LSD into innocents’ drinks in order to observe what they’d do. (The plan was outed and they were sued up the wazoo.)

The shooter was on a government research grant (about PTSD, in fact), but that’s run of the mill stuff for universities. The facts seem to say this was a plain loon, whose own mom saw him going loony.

Yet the mother didn’t have him committed.

Wow, that’s a kooky article. James Holmes a Manchurian Candidate for the FBI? Instead of laughing at NaturalNews.com, I am now shaking my increasingly-sore head . . .

Doing that can be virtually impossible if mad babblings is all that show of the insanity. A person has to be demonstrably bent on something irrationally dangerous to self or others. Which he was, but it was a secret.

snips:

The video showing Holmes speaking at a science camp at Miramar College in San Diego when he was 18.

Holmes’ presentation is on “temporal illusion,” which he defines as “an illusion that allows you to change the past.” In the video, he said he studies subjective experience, calling it “what takes place inside the mind, as opposed to the external world.”

This is how he was explaining his mentor’s shared interest in fantasy versus reality in the video.
end snip

*******************

I wonder who the mentor was, and if they still played a part of this nutball. But I imagine just devoting himself to the subject could push him over the edge. Especially if he had a past he wanted changing. (Like tons of schooling and ending up at McDonalds).

Some folks dream of getting back at the kids in high school by being successful, good looking, etc. And others dream of nightmares.

And his mother was quoted as being unsurprised that her son was capable of something like this.

And his mother was quoted as being unsurprised that her son was capable of something like this.

That is quite the statement considering what the man has done. I mean, it's not like he was driving fast and accidentally crashed the car killing everybody inside. If it was, I could understand a mother saying something like that.

I'm sure there will be more investigations into what his mom knew, when did she know it and why did she not report her suspicions to authorities.

Has nothing to do with her relationship to the man.

I don’t know whether there’s any truth to that theory, but if one is questioning whether the left is that evil—yes, they are.

Continuing from CBS:

“He said pictures from inside the apartment are fairly disturbing and the devices look to be sophisticated, adding the booby-traps were ‘something I’ve never seen.’ One rifle, two handguns, a knife, a bullet proof vest, a ballistic helmet, a gas device, a gas mask, military SWAT clothing and unidentified explosives were also found in Holmes’ car, a law enforcement source told CBS News. [Police Chief] Oates said Holmes wore a gas mask, a ballistic helmet and vest as well as leg, groin and throat protectors during the shooting.”

Added on July 22nd: “He allegedly wore a helmet, a throat guard, a ballistic vest, ballistic leggings and gloves and was dressed in black.”

In other words, this guy was equipped with exotic gear by someone with connections to military equipment. SWAT clothing, explosives, complex booby-traps... c’mon, this isn’t a “lone gunman.” This is somebody who was selected for a mission, given equipment to carry it out, then somehow brainwashed into getting it done.

“Aurora Police Chief Dan Oates said Holmes’ apartment is booby-trapped with a ‘sophisticated’ maze of flammable devices. It could take hours or days for authorities to disarm it,” reports Yahoo News

UPDATE: (This section added to the story Saturday at 2:30 pm central, July 21, 2012). It is now being reported that exotic, advanced booby-traps have been disarmed at the apartment of James Holmes. The Denver affiliate of CBS News is now reporting:

Officials say they have removed all major threats at the booby-trapped apartment of the Aurora movie theater shooting suspect on Saturday. They have used a robot to go inside James Holmes’ apartment. ...They were able to disable a trip wire that was set to go off when the apartment door was opened. “This is some serious stuff that our team is dealing with...”

Tin Foil Hat Area?

I wish it were, but am not surprised the judge has sealed the case.

This is clearly false and doesn’t take into account mental illness.

It is very difficult for one adult to have another adult committed. And once your kid is over 18 they are an adult.

Unlikely any CA judge would have involuntarily committed him at his parents’ petition since he was an adult, Holmes was no apparent threat to others, attending school out of California (at least on paper) and living on his own with grant money and unemployment assistance and ? without bothering other people or even really drawing their attention.

This guy was clever and competent enough to do everything he needed and planned within the law and under the radar

So dont blame his mother as a kneejerk reaction

Talk of a “mentor” in combination with “lucid dreaming” sounds rather like he was a fan of Carlos Castaneda’s writing upon the subject. The “mentor” would have come to him while dreaming.
