It occurred to me that if various people in a community can be credited for one's successes, then they can be faulted for one's failures too.

Even a criminal could then justifiably claim that the crimes they've committed weren't their doing; it was these elements in the community that made him to it. That "society is to blame".

And that's what makes this whole community-over-individual meme bogus.

True... in a way... but not true because you need discipline and hard work to become a champion, even with teaching.

Same for business. O just doesn’t get it.
