From first-hand experience; Federal operating regulations require that whenever a Federal Law Enforcement agency wishes to conduct an investigation/operation of this type the Field Office (such as the Phoenix office) must get authorization from Washington - in this case the highest level of ATF. When the operation is expected to involve entering a foreign country, or in this case allowing prohibited (by that foreign country) materials, such as weapons, to enter that foreign country the very highest levels of the Justice Department must give its approve for the operation - AND - the State Department must be advised and give their approval. Only the little fish in this murderous and criminal fiasco are being thrown on the fire - as usual.
Boy are those RINOs in the GOP a buncha wimps!!
It should be handcuff city around there.
BTW—ALL of this BS started at the VERY TOP (1.e. Barry, Valerie, and Hillary) and NOT a buncha lowlife subordinates who think killing Mexicans a good idea.
