I disagree. Be there, but just Witness. Do not mock them, or react to non-criminal behavior. Just be there and ignore them.

They WANT a reaction. If we just sit there and eat our chicken sandwiches, then they are defeated in their mission.

The presence of conservatives will also serve to deter any illegal acts like vandalism.

I think it is as you say easier just to ignore them. Not difficult to do today, as they don’t even seem to have shown up. Unless they are waiting for 8 pm. Either way, probably best to stand aloof from it all.
