On the heels of her live chat with the MassLive.com readers, Democratic U.S. Senate candidate Elizabeth Warren is again taking her campaign westward for events in Pittsfield, Springfield and Westfield.
On Sunday, Warren, who is aiming to unseat Republican U.S. Senator Scott Brown, will visit Pittsfield in Berkshire County to engage voters in a conversation about the issues that are in the spotlight this election season.
Billed as an ice cream social, the gathering will take place at the campaign headquarters she shares with Democratic U.S. Rep. Richard Neal, who is running to represent the newly drawn 1st Congressional District against Berkshire Democrats Andrea Nuciforo Jr. and Bill Shein.
The event will take place at 3 p.m. at the Democratic office located at 274 Wahconah St. in Pittsfield.
Volunteers will also be canvasing in Berkshire County beginning around noon Sunday, according to Democratic organizers.
On Monday, as Warren returns to Western Massachusetts for her meeting with the editorial board of The Republican newspaper, she will be making stops in Westfield and Springfield.
In the Whip City, Warren will visit a yet to be announced business as part of her "Rebuild Now" tour, which rivals Brown's "Thank You For Building This" tour, as both candidates make appeals to business owners across the commonwealth.
In a closed-door meeting at 12:30 p.m., Warren will meet with Springfield NAACP President Rev. Talbert Swan II and other African American clergy in a discussion apparently aiming to ascertain where the Harvard Law professor stands in relation to issues affecting the black community.

Rumor has it that she plans a bit of a rain dance as well.Lawns are getting pretty brown out in Happy Valley.
Little Running Gag smoke ‘em peace pipe with Church father?
It seems as though the “woman of color” has lots of pow wows planned.
Lizzie Warren can be a black man if it helps her make money. Harvard has come up with THE LIZZIE WARREN STUDIES PROGRAM. The only problem is since it is Harvard, you never know your real grade. The professor could tell you that you have an A, when in reality, you failed the class. The truth doesn’t matter at Harvard.
A Black Swan event?
The only truth that matters at Harvard is whether your tuition check clears or not.
One of the most pathetic "live chats" I ever saw - the replay is embedded in this article....should have been named barely-a-live chat.
Yeah, even though it's their motto, emblazoned on their coat-of-arms for for nearly four hundred years.
Laid low by post-WWII America.
