Carl Higbie served as a Navy SEAL for nine years, but was forced to retire after speaking out against President Obama’s policies. Higbie was threatened with dishonorable discharge for writing the book, “Battle on the Home Front,” but instead was able to simply retire.
“My commanders were more concerned about how the fallout of this book would affect their careers than they were concerned about how re-electing President Obama would affect the country,” Higbie said.

A soon-to-be-published e-book discusses how personal the presidential race has become.
When President Obama talked about Mitt Romney in recent months, "aides picked up a level of anger he never had for (Hillary) Clinton or (John) McCain," writes Politico's Glenn Thrush in Obama's Last Stand, which will be out on Aug. 20.
Thrush notes that Obama "began campaign preparations feeling neutral about Romney, but like the former governor's GOP opponents in 2008 and 2012, he quickly developed a genuine disdain for the man," according to excerpts released by Politico.
Of course, we suspect that Romney's views of Obama may be somewhat similar.
Obama's Last Stand is the latest in a series of e-books on the campaign produced by Politico.

I applaud him for his writing the book. He knew though, the military allows no public dissent in the ranks.
And I feel that that attitude will one day help bring this administration/regime to an end.

And that is why many of us fear that while this battle may go our way and obama may be defeated, the real war has been lost. No one who is really in a position to do anything has the foresight or the interest to look beyond their own little entrenched interests.

I went to the marine recruiters the other week and I have to say the guy was an idiot, all he talked about was how he was th ebest to be picked to be with bama, how he was top of his class and once I asked about my oldest having to share showers, and rooms wiht homos and cross dressers he told me and I quote” he would not be forced to do anything he did not want to do”
I told him I had served etc and then his face dropped, he must have thought he had a sucker.
The military is not what it was, here is on their website and he told me the women have to do the same tests, B/S do they and he was proud ot say women can now serve in combat.
Women only have to do one pull up for the marines, less time for the running, less weight to carry, less sit ups
s and pull ups.
A man only has to do two , frigging two pulls up to get in, the final test is three pulls, run 3 miles in shorts and shirt , no weight in 28 mins and do 48 sit ups in two minutes.
Hell I can beat that still now.
Looks like he will get his millions strong security forcesoon and I blame the Generals who won’t speak up or some of them anyway and no wonder the RINO, pussy footing pro queer GOP wants to shut Col Allen West up.
But he sent it to the Pentagon for authorization to publish it. They would not even acknowledge receipt of it. More worried about their careers than they are about their country is the way he said it on Fox & Friends this morning.

9Years does not = retire it means he is being intimidated into “getting out” which means he has to find a job to support him and his family if he has one.This is total BS and hopefully his rate will help him in his job search.

This book seems to show what we already know. Romney is actually fighting back, and hard, and The One doesn’t like it. He is so used to be treated like a royal figure that he cannot handle ‘unapproved’ tactics. He didn’t mind McCain because McCain played by the rules laid out by the media/Obama campaign. I think he’ll unravel with three more months of this.
