A man and a woman were randomly attacked in the Bronx in separate incidents after a knife-wielding madman walked up to them and slashed them across the face and neck, cops said.
The suspect approached both victims within 24 hours of each other on the same street in Williamsbridge.
He never said a word to either victim and didnt try to steal anything, cops said.

And, of course, it is illegal to defend against this type of perp with a firearm.
Several of the comments note that the supposed perp was black. And the left-wing responses, while accusing these commenters of being racist, nevertheless also make that assumption.
Interesting, because nothing in the article suggests the race of the suspect. I suspect that the article was edited at some point, to remove that awkward fact, because the editors didn’t want to be accused of being racist.
