At least seven people were shot in three boroughs across New York City overnight, police say.
Three teenagers were shot in a Bronx playground at about 11 p.m. Wednesday. Police say a 17-year-old boy was shot in the abdomen, a 14-year-old girl shot in the left thigh and an 18-year-old boy hit in the upper chest.

Dinkins 2.0, followed by Giuliani 2.0. Wash, rinse, repeat.
The original report of shootings must be a mistake. I think guns are illegal in the Kingdom of Bloomberg.
They were selling illegal soda and baby formula, and the transaction went wrong.

All were taken to Jacobi Hospital and are expected to be OK. Information on their ages was not immediately available.”
I love the lack of proofreading. They give the ages then say information on their ages was not available.
I used to see ads in NYC subway cars stating that,in NYC (don't know about the rest of the state) it's a crime to *modify a toy gun to make it look real*! I kid you not!
The last time anybody made a list of the top hundred character attributes of New Yorkers, common sense snuck in at number 79 - Douglas Noel Adams (1952-2001)
I worked in NYC during the end of Dinkins 1.0 and beginning of Giuliani 1.0 ... what a difference! My daughter works in NYC now. She's a Birkenstock-wearing veggie artist -- and the place is too liberal for her! She commutes from New Jersey.
The writer must have gotten the city wrong. You cannot have a shooting in NYC, NY as guns are illegal. Screwdrivers also if you will recall.
On the lighter brighter side, Bloomberg has made it harder for the shooters to get large sugary drinks...
