Obama campaign takes race-mongering to new low
Vice President Joe Biden told a racially mixed audience Wednesday that if Republicans take back the White House, Theyre going to put yall back in chains. Its hard to say what is more offensive: Mr. Bidens overt use of inflammatory racial symbolism, or someone from Delaware saying yall.
Stephanie Cutter, the Obama campaigns apply-named hatchet man, claimed Mr. Biden was using a metaphor to talk about whats going to happen and that the bottom line is that we have no problem with those comments. That makes sense. Theres no reason for the Obama campaign to apologize because hacking at the raw wound of racism is critical to the Democrats reelection strategy.
This race is about race because if it were about issues, Democrats would lose. Mr. Obamas moribund economic record would guarantee that. Democrats havent fared well with majority white voters generally at the presidential level. According to Gallup, the only Democratic presidential nominee to win a majority of the white vote in the last 60 years was Lyndon Johnson in 1964. Currently, white men favor Mr. Romney by a 24-point margin, and white women back the Republican ticket by 7 percent, according to Gallup.
White voters are still an overwhelming majority, but Democrats calculate there are enough self-loathing liberals of pallor who will vote for Mr. Obama even as they are being castigated for their ethnicity...

It would be his use of inflammatory racial rhetoric. And he's not from Delaware, He was born in Scranton, Pa. He grew up in northern De. Southern Delaware is very much y'all. There are places on the Delmarva peninsula where you would need an interpreter to understand what they were saying.

Yep. Racial. I fully expect Hispanic race card to be dealt soon enough. I'd be embarrassed if I was a member of either group. Obama must have a very low opinion of the parties to treat them essentially as ignorant, pliable imbeciles.
Campaign also about fear, see Mediscare; and lastly class warfare, see rich v poor.

Biden knows what he is doing and how far he can push things. Its OK with the DNC and that DWS woman. They plan to take this election any means necessary, while MSN looks the other way.

I've never seen a Freeper talk about putting people in chains... never... ever. It doesn't happen. It's so stupid.
We lament the fate citizens broken and made dependent just so they'll vote dem - that happens.
Biden’s an idiot - the only people crass enough and selfp-serving enough not to see how stupid Biden is are the people at the New York Times. Biden could be drooling on the floor, speaking gibberish and spitting obscenities and the New York Times would be impressed with his brilliance...
