WASHINGTON, August 15, August 15, 2012 (LifeSiteNews.com) - A security guard was wounded in a shooting at the Family Research Council headquarters Wednesday, although details of the incident remain unclear.
FRC spokesperson Darin Miller confirmed the shooting to LifeSiteNews.com late Wednesday morning before releasing a statement from FRC president Tony Perkins.
The police are investigating this incident. Our first concern is with our colleague who was shot today. Our concern is for him and his family, said Perkins.
One local report initially said that another individual was also wounded, but now reports only the injury of the security guard. The guard was reportedly shot in the arm and retained consciousness, while a suspect is in police custody.
Homojihadi?
Wonder if it was a LGBT supporter. I have a militant, communist, lesbian friend from high school on my Facebook list and she posted a picture accusing Chik Fil A of supporting Family Research Council who supposedly opposed legislation to stop killing gays in some third world country, or something. Not sure of all the details, I usually try to ignore her hate filled intolerant rants. But gaydar has been on FRC.
Media will ignore.
Maybe gaystapo.
I made the mistake of “Friending” people I went to High School with as well. I didn’t know them then and I don’t like them now. They all either have government jobs (USPS) or they are on Disability because they have mental problems.
This report must be in error. It’s illegal to have a gun in Washington, D.C. which should have prevented this episode. I’m pretty sure that’s true.
I've had roughly the same experience. I've friended a relatively large number of people I went to HS with, and most of the active ones on FB are loonie tunes.
The other day, I was thinking about it and thought, "Maybe I just hung out with the wrong crowd in high school?"
But then I thought about who all I went to HS with (friends or not) and was like, "I don't think there was a 'right' crowd to hang out with at my high school."
I setup a faceb00k account to reach out and plan my weeding with family - big mistake. Scope creep: I didn't need all the extra friends that linked up (and I approved, duh) that are compelled to share news such as; "I'm tired, going to nap, k" and "I'm gonna order some takeout".
It was dishonest when I convinced myself that telling people how "friggin great I am" was to help them. Now I need to remember the password so I can blow out that account.

Members of my family post the same tripe. I won’t accept friend requests from the worst of them.

You must have one helluva garden!
On a serious note, you can adjust your settings for each person so you only get “urgent” posts.
Make sure to let your friend know the the offense eligible considered by Uganda for the death penalty was CHILD RAPE.
The FRC worked to make sure things like CHILD RAPE, among other sex acts, were not declared a fundamental human right as passed by the illiterates in our U.S. Senate.

Thanks! I should always come here for the correct info.
Fox News (Megan Kelly) is reporting the Southern Poverty Law Center labeled the Family Research Council a “hate group” based on their stance defending traditional marriage.
but I think you're onto something, my garden is a mess
Hints are that he was against traditional family from things he said when he entered.
He was focusing on gaining access to someone in the building from what he told the guard.
This will become a non-story should this be a fago-whacko.
Shep will relate.
