Take this image in given everything we now seem to know of events at the Family Research Council today. The DC Center, where the suspect volunteered under David Mariner promoted a "Chicks-for-Gays" protest recently as part of the Chick-fil-A intimidation campaign.

It seems puzzling to me that prominent LGBT activist David Mariner would disconnect his Facebook connection to an individual who appears to be the Family Research Council shooting suspect, before going to Newser to make this statement: '"Mariner describes Corkins as "kind, gentle and unassuming."' In comments, Bill Hobbs claims he dropped the friendship immediately after my post went up. I have no idea.
Allegedly, that's Corkins in the picture, though it's a liberal's claim on Twitter and I can't confirm it.
But here's the real issue. Given the scant little evidence the left, Democrats and the media have repeatedly used to indict the Tea Party for any and every violent incident they can't even really link to it, it seems more than fair to say everyone from Rahm Emanuel to any and every Chik-fil-A protester now has blood on their hands.
Apparently Corkins was a "volunteer" who worked @ the DC Center for the LGBT Community, where David Mariner is the Executive Director.
If you click on the link in the middle of the article posted, you'll find this interesting statement: "Sources have told NBC 4's Jackie Bensen that the unnamed gunman had two 15 round ammunition clips with him and was carrying Chick-fil-A sandwiches in his backpack too."

The AP sent out an article with an "original headline" of: 'Shooting suspect was volunteering at LGBT center'
If you Google that headline, you'll see it tied to outlets that ran that AP story...

* USNews.com
* MyFoxHouston.com
* MSNBC.com
* 13ABC.com
BUT...once you click on that (AP) story at any of these venues, you'll see that the AP changed the headline to: 'Official: Suspect criticized group before shooting'
The focus has been removed from the "hate" group that perhaps contributed to spawning the shooter (the LGBT group)...
...Instead the focus is now on the group that the shooter criticized...as if the criticism was headline news...not the shooting itself!
Absolutely outrageous...People should immediately contact the AP about its hypocritical double standards!!!!
BTW...you'll look LONG and hard at this stage to find ANY news outlet that puts 'LGBT volunteer' in the headline tied to this shooter.
Yet imagine the reverse occurring...where a conservative volunteer working for a pro-life, pro-family, tea party or Christian group had done the shooting...
Do you think that would be neglected in the gobs of headlines?

It doesn't surprise me that the sexually immoral would do something like this, but I fear for the day that someone would call themselves "one of us" and do the same thing, thereby giving the MSM their ammunition to castigate the truly loving people in this country.

It is time to discredit both this LGBT group and The Southern Poverty Law Center. I know that they are not directly responsible for this man’s actions but in a way they are. They have spread lies about The Family Research Center and have labeled them a hate group for believing in the bible. They have lied about the bills that FRC have advocated and fomented hatred aand violence towards any Christian that doesn’t agree with their lifestyle. I am thinking a class action lawsuit against both or at least making some noise. This kind of stuff has gone on far too long. First they tried to silence our right to free speech and freedom of religion...now they are shooting!

homosexuals have every freedom that any other citizen has in this nation. What they seem to want is hyper rights that overwhelm the rights of non homosexuals. They want to inflict their sexual habits on children as young as six years of age. They want to teach the “joys” of anal sex and fisting to Jr high students. They want to fondle each other in public. They want the age of consent lowered to twelve. And each of the last four sentences constitute recruiting.
