The alleged shooter in the Family Research Council shooting may have had a second target, according to the head of the group.
Floyd Corkins II allegedly had the address of the Traditional Values Coalition in his possession. The organization, a lobbying group, has similar views to the family research council.
Clearly we need added protection after this. My understanding is we were the next target, says Andrea Lafferty of the Traditional Values Coalition.
Traditional Values Coalition is located in the 100 block of C Street in southeast D.C.

I guess when I pause and reflect, you’re right. Very unfortunate and not pleasant to contemplate, but denial not going to help me. I always considered the FBI to be a very macho, heroic type operation. But in this era that’s probably idealistic and naive. I guess the politically correct agenda crept into every nook and cranny.

I heard that he ‘begged’ not to be shot when they were ‘capturing’ him.
Also either the Chief (WHAT IS WITH ALL THE RIBBONS) or a Deputy Chief made sure to point out the weapon was LEGALLY purchased in VA and he couldn’t have gotten it in DC.
I haven’t been there (for any time) in the last few years but just contacting ‘old acquaintances’ and areas, I don’t think it would take to long to score one.
