I read he is going to say he is staying in the race.

We get it, Todd... you’re staying in...you have your “principles”... God wants you there.
So, take the attention off yourself and kindly set about your task.

He should drop out even if he hadn’t said those things. He could have the worst comb-over I’ve ever seen.

Im in his congressional district and one of his senior campaign staff spoke at the local Pacyderms Club about 12:00. Based on that, I seriously doubt hes pulling out. His support at the meeting was near 100% and his fundraising is beating his own goals.

Well I do hope he stays in, but would understand if he bows out
Sad that the Democrats and Pro-Abort Liberals in the GOP are pushing him out. He would have made a solid conservative in the Senate...so lacking in the GOP
Akin is being attacked because of his strong conservative beliefs, not the so-called comment.

Hmmmm ... He's generated 150K in small donations in 48 hours. Nearly 7K signatures on his petition. 18K likes on Facebook. Words of support from Congressmen and grass roots leaders. I would be surprised if he withdrew. It would be a huge disappointment. We need firm resolve and conservative values in the Senate, and Akin possesses them both. But I have to admit, historically a highly public surprise Friday announcement does not bode well for conservatives. The Republicans may have negotiated to have their way after all.

Another report has Akin “staying” (The Hill)
I would say this Presser is to politely display the middle digit of his hand to the Liberal Pro-Aborts who are trying to push him out.

All the whining Goppers need to just leave Akin alone...if your Mitt can’t beat the Obamaoid w/o demonizing Akin he can’t win.
