Is the dam being over-topped, undercut or crumbling?

Not that it matters all that much downstream, I’m just curious.

The “dam” is really a spillway so there are no floodgates to open to release the stress. From various reports, inspectors are checking it but haven’t said exactly what’s happening. The water isn’t over the spillway so imo it’s probably going to burst. This link says waters are expected to rise to 17 feet below it.
