Seven months ago, Israel and the United States postponed a massive joint military exercise that was originally set to go forward just as concerns were brimming that Israel would launch a strike on Iran’s nuclear facilities. The exercise was rescheduled for late October, and appears likely to go forward on the cusp of the U.S. presidential election. But it won’t be nearly the same exercise. Well-placed sources in both countries have told TIME that Washington has greatly reduced the scale of U.S. participation, slashing by more than two-thirds the number of American troops going to Israel and reducing both the number and potency of missile interception systems at the core of the joint exercise.

Why in the hell is this inside information being leaked???? O has done this time and again to try and keep Israel from defending itself.
This - after a State Dept rep supposedly met with Ahmadinejad last week - indicates to me that Obama feels he may not be reelected and has to move now.
As a Muslim, he hates the Jews; as a Marxist, he sees Judaism and its God as something to rebel against; and as a Third-World-identified member of the community of resentment, he probably has smoke coming out of his ears every time he sees what a productive, efficient country the Jews have made out of that barren patch of land.
America HAS been fundamentally changed. We have abandoned Israel. We are coordinating the defeat of all non-Sunni Islamic leaders across the ME.

This is the most toxic and evil foreign policy stratagem in US history. And it's all happening under the radar. It's not an explicitly formulated and announced policy because the American people would be appalled.

Obama speech to soldiers met with silence

President Barack Obama was greeted with fleeting applause and extended periods of silence as he offered profuse praise to soldiers and their families during an Aug. 31 speech in Fort Bliss, Texas.
His praise for the soldiers — and for his own national-security policies — won cheers from only a small proportion of the soldiers and families in the cavernous aircraft-hangar.
The audience remains quiet even when the commander-in-chief thanked the soldiers’ families, and cited the 198 deaths of their comrades in Iraq and Afghanistan.
The audience’s reaction was so flat that the president tried twice to elicit a reaction from the crowd.
“Hey, I hear you,” he said amid silence.
The selected soldiers who were arrayed behind the president sat quietly throughout the speech.
CNN and MSNBC ended their coverage of the speech before it was half-over.
