Poll: Clinton speech was the favorite

Former President Bill Clinton's speech was the highlight of the Democratic Party convention — overshadowing President Obama's own acceptance speech, according to a new poll.

A new Pew survey finds that 29 percent of those who watched some of the coverage named Clinton's speech as the highlight. Obama's speech drew 16 percent of the plaudits, and first lady Michelle Obama's speech was the highlight for 15 percent of respondents.

Obama's speech was also rated lower than his 2008 acceptance speech. According to Pew, 42 percent of watchers rated Obama's speech as excellent in 2008. This year, only 29 percent rated it the same.

How much did it cost Obama to get that Clinton hour long diatribe? Probably a guarantee that the “Clinton Legacy”, with Hellary as President for 8 yrs., then Chelsea as Pres. for 8 yrs., After that the besmirched Bill can grace us with his “expertise” for another 8 yrs. SO, Eternal Life it looks like is what he had to promise Bill for condescending to pull his grits out of the fire, ‘cause Bill’s gonna have to live forever for Obama to repay THAT debt.. Don’t know what Bill got as collateral.
