Democrat Withdraws from 1st District Congressional Race (voted in FL and MD)
Baltimore Sun ^ | 9/10/12 | Matthew Hay Brown

Wendy Rosen, the Democratic challenger to Republican Rep. Andy Harris in the 1st Congressional District, withdrew from the race Monday amid allegations that she voted in elections in both Maryland and Florida in 2006 and 2008.

It was unclear, however, whether she could remove her name from the ballot with the election less than two months away. Under state law, a candidate has until 70 days before an election to remove his or her name from the ballot. The deadline for the Nov. 6 election passed on Aug. 28.

Republicans, meanwhile, said the allegations prove that voter fraud is real and called on Democrats to join the GOP in calling for reforms.

Snip

Rosen said she was able to register in Florida because she owned property there

I don’t understand how an absentee ballot could be mailed to an address other than your SIL’s.

That's why you are not a Demonratic election official. Who ever said the absentee ballot was mailed? Or even requested? All the elections board has to say is that they routinely discard requests for absentee ballots after mailing the absentee ballot to the voter, or for the Postal "Service" to intercept along the way, either direction. But easiest to commit fraud at the source.

Remember, Obama started out as a community "organizer". How better to "organize" than to generate registered "voters" like New Orleans policemen, who exist only on paper. Then, there isn't even anyone to object when their vote is stolen. It's the Chicago Way.

States are working on it however Obama&Co take them to court at every turn.
The dems can’t win an honest election it’s why they fight for the right to use fraud.

Plus, if you don’t vote here, after three elections, your name is dropped from the roles and you must re-register.

###

Years ago, I was dropped from the rolls for not voting in a few elections. It could have been as few as five years (2 Presidential elections), as I recall. Could that have been because I was a registered Republican?

Do the rolls of democrats ever get purged in Maryland? I doubt it.

A representative of a local contest said on the radio that about half of the mailers sent out to addresses on the voters lists were returned to his campaign as “addressee unknown.” How many of that half of the rolls voted? It would have been easy to find out if any Election Board Official cared!

. . . imagine how many people aren’t caught.

Very true. We recently moved from CA to FL, and were curious if we were still on the voting rolls in CA. We checked, and it turned out that I was no longer registered, but Mr. RightField was. At our last registration in CA, Mr. Rightfield was a registered Democrat, and I was a registered Republican. I wonder if that had anything to do with it?

We sent the de-registration form to the San Diego Registrar of Voters to get him off the rolls. When we checked a couple of weeks later, he was no longer registered out there.

Since there is no voter ID required in CA at the time of voting, it would have been very easy for someone to have voted in his name.

ps, Mr. RightField is a "recovering liberal" . . . and no longer believes in that left-wing nonsense. Credit his immersion in FReeRepublic for that change.

Harris was going to be reelected easily anyhow, since the Democrats packed even more Republicans into his district (so as to make Bartlett’s CD Democrat-leaning and keep the other districts comfortably Democrat).

Did she vote as herself, and only once in each state?

If you have in-person early voting, absentee voting is not needed except for people on long-term travel or unable to go to the polls.

However, It makes it a bit easier to vote twice. That is why I think we need some sort of way to cross-check registrations. This woman would have never been caught if someone hadn’t tipped them off.

I think that absentee voting is where the real fraud occurs. But, there is almost certainly poll worker fraud, by voting for people that never showed up.

So, how did they discover this? I’d like to know because something that went into effect without a big deal was in addition to Florida looking for illegals on the voting rolls, a parallel investigation was launched to ferret out people registered in other states.

Could this have been the first big fish hooked in this very quiet investigation?

Furthermore, she may very well have drivers licenses from more than one state as well because to qualify to register to vote in Florida, the application must be accompanied by either a Florida Drivers License or a Florida ID card. I just checked with the office and one person cannot have both.

If she has a Maryland Drivers License, she also could not get a Florida ID Card because it is all keyed of one’s SSN. Now, if she has more than one SSN, then the scandal even gets deeper.

Asked if she had voted in both Maryland and Florida in the same elections, she said she did not remember how she voted. Asked if she had voted twice in the 2008 presidential primaries, she declined to comment "due to possible litigation."

I smell the 5th amendment coming. If she is so damn stupid she can't remember how she voted, she's not qualified to clean toilets at the bus station.

If Romney gets less than 5% more votes than Obama, he will lose.

My question is, when will the people take the necessary steps to FORCE the criminals masquerading as legislators to stop voter fraud? It's not complicated. They are either criminals (Democrats) or enablers of criminals (Republicans). Did I miss anyone?

Voter fraud doesn't exist. It's a myth to repress minority voters. /s

Let's see... an illegal immigrant just plead guilty to voting in CA during 2008, we have seven of 19 registered non-citizens voting in Philly from a July report, we had Democrat-supporting celebrity Clay Aiken deliberately voting in a county he wasn't living in back in 2009, now we have a Democratic congressional candidate voting in multiple places in multiple elections.

The only ones advocating for guards against and prosecutions of voter fraud are Republicans while Democrats screaming "racism!"

I'm sensing a pattern. /s

What does the media do? They support the Democrat talking points, of course!
