Re the Gaydar: As a woman who worked in theater for a number of years, my gaydar is fairly well developed (though not infallible). Now, I normally avoid watching Obama on TV because it just makes me grit my teeth. Instead I read the transcripts of his speeches, etc. So it has been some time since I actually watched His Highness on the screen. But for the convention, I thought I would watch some to gauge crowd reaction, etc. At any rate, I watched the end of Michelle’s speech and then saw him come out on stage. My gaydar went off like mad! I literally caught my breath, and said out loud, “He is SO gay!” and then I said to myself, “Does Michelle know?” And then I thought, well, how could she not? After all, many women are willing to put up with a lot to have a superficially acceptable husband at hand.
But my point is that after not seeing Obama on TV for quite some time, it was really shocking to me to take a good look at him. I couldn’t believe how gay his body mannerisms are. He’s either gay, or the metro-ist “metrosexual” you ever saw in your life!
Just because Barry swishes when he walks and talks, throws like a girl, is limp-wristed, rides a girl's bike, and prefers hanging curtains to sports, spent hours with Reggie Love locked in a playroom, has a fag hag like Valerie telling him what to do 24/7, has sex and does crack in limos with Larry Sinclair, belongs to a gay "work-out" club, had a chief assistant who was a ballerino, and his teleprompterings remind one of the gay guy in Cage aux Folles who was trying to sound macho, there is no reason for your innuendo.
As far as Michelle goes, she has everything a real man could want ... big muscles, wide shoulders, a deep voice, and a very belligerent attitude. Either way, the children are quite lovely and do have a mommie and and a daddy. You are obviously a a very patriarchal, gender-normative, imperialistic, hegemonic, probably Euro-centric, judgemental, and some sort of Cleaver-Leave-it-to-Beaver Norman Rockwell Eisenhower Republican.
BTW, please help me in forming a 5-6 FReeper Team to monitor Obama's "Speeches." They also make me violently ill and if we all take turns taking notes, only one of us at a time would have to be sick.
I saw 0 kiss Michelle twice at the convention. She cringed both times.
He didn’t come out on stage after Michelle’s speech—he was in the White House with the kids watching it on TV. He came out after Clinton’s speech.
