The article stated that McDonlad’s was listing the caloric value of their menu offering in advance of a GOVERNMENT REQUIREMENT TO DO SO. Your post implied support for that idea by equating opposition to the mandate to ostracizing a healthy lifestyle. That is nanny statism, pure and simple.

It wasn't an implication. I stated it as fact. Here on FR there are great many people who DO equate anything anyone says about being healthy as a) a personal attack b) desiring a nanny state c) or, trying to tell other people what they should and shouldn't do.

I am advocating nor doing any of those. I advocate a healthy lifestyle for the health of it. I HAVE been ostracized in the past for doing so. Just like the responses I have seen to "trailhkr1" on this thread and others.
