Citizens are disarmed in NYC. Only criminals have guns.

Yup....and it’s best to stay out of the big cities. It’s going to get worse.

Yeah, too bad law-abiding old ladies can't carry guns in NYC to defend themselves.

Of course, criminals who attack old ladies don't obey laws.

Bing. I am looking to move even farther from a not-very-big city.

I built a nice retirement place in a small village in northern New England. I can’t wait to move up there when I finish up work.

We are planning to move to a town in Northern New England with a population of about 600 where we own 40 acres. We are currently exploring SE Alaska in our boat and discovered a wonderful little town with a population of 35 that is accessible only by boat or float plane. They don’t even have streets, just boardwalks through the woods! We really liked it there and were invited to stay the winter but decided instead to winter in Petersburg, pop. about 3000.

It is certainly true: Quality of life is inversely proportional to population density.

I think the 3 northern New England states have the best quality of life in the U.S. if you pick the right spot.

The story quotes witnesses. People were there.
