Since LBJ’s 1965 New Deal, we have whole families who quit working and never even thought of finding a job. These people have long beautiful fingernails, beautifully dressed hair, drive the newest cars with the fancy hub caps, their gov’t cell phones and i-pads. They can also pop out babies like no one’s business, one about 5/6, another 4/5, another a toddler and one in the hamper, both races.
If you drive through rural Alabama, Georgia and elsewhere, you’ll still see these public housing units (separate or duplexes) made of concrete with three or four rooms. All built in the late 60s throughout the 70s.
They’re in little enclaves around the local towns. We still have 4 of these enclaves in my town - still used.
