Three checks sent out from President Barack Obamas campaign headquarters in Chicago have been stolen a total of $50,000, according to a TV news report and police are investigating.
Three checks we sent to vendors made it into the wrong hands, and after learning of this, we notified the police, said Obamas Midwest press secretary, Ben Finkenbinder in a written statement. Were pleased that theyre dealing with the issue swiftly, and dont expect this to have any impact upon the campaign.
The Obama campaign would not confirm the total amount of the checks but FOX Chicago News reported campaign staffers called police Wednesday to report a theft of about $50,000 in checks intended to pay for campaign expenses.
Obamas headquarters are in the Prudential Building, overlooking Grant Park, at 130 E. Randolph. Asked about the Obama campaign theft, Chicago Police would only confirm that they are investigating a theft in the 100 block of East Randolph.
Bullcrap. They probably never even wrote the checks. His campaign has notoriously been behind in paying vendors, etc. for services rendered. This is just their way of putting off payment for a while until the coffers have more money in them. Living on borrowed time.
That’s nothing. Zero has stolen $6 trillion from our future (so far).
An excellent point!
“three checks we sent to vendors, made it into the wrong hands”......
Obviously Bush did it. Has he been recently seen in Chicago wearing a letter carrier’s uniform?
Not saying there’s any connection, but Obama has a new $40 million oceanfront retirement villa to pay for.
In Hawaii?
Pay To the Order Of..........Nikoula Bessely Nikoula?
Of course, you don't really expect King Barry to live in Chicago for the rest of his life, do you?
What goes around comes around, LOL!
It was just some redistributors, that’s all. How can O’ooboo complain about that?
