“.. very sorry they didn’t make it”.

Unfortunately, they would have been looking for the infamous white van. Stupid Chief Moose.. giving out that info when he had information that it wasn’t a white van. Sheesh...

Where the hell is that stupid Chief Moose anyway. What an ass he made of himself. Can anyone find a single person to speak and intelligent word about him?

Uh, no.

None of them were *ever* looking for white dudes or white vans.

We were looking for something that would “stick out” like crazy up here in the mountains.

Several places less than 20 minutes away were ‘targets’ on the laptop they had.

Boy, did they ever pick spectacularly stupid places to ‘hit’.

The funniest one was a gas station near the state prison/police barracks/national guard armory where armed cops and reservists hang out all the time.

Oh well.

What might have been.

There had been a report of a dark sedan, at first, but some witnesses started talking about the white van. Yes, Chief Moose mentioned it, but it was the media that picked it up and ran with it, forgetting about the sedan.

We watched a show on TV a couple of weeks ago about the shootings, and how difficult it was to catch them. It turned out that a mistake on the part of the duo, and the memory of one of John Muhammed's neighbors in the NorthWest, was what brought them down.

During one of their 'stakeouts', and where they left a note for the LEO's(which I don't remember hearing about at the time;good police work), there was an empty snack bag with a fingerprint on it. When they were caught, they had the fingerprint to connect them to the scene.

And the neighbor in WA state, I think, remembered Muhammed doing target practice in his back yard, then all of a sudden, he was gone. He thought something was hinky about him, and when the shootings were going on, he called the LEOs in VA to tell them about it.
