Pentagon Bureaucracy Results in Record Drop in Requested Military Ballots
Townhall.com ^ | October 1, 2012 | Katie Pavlich

According to Founder and Executive Director of the Military Voter Protection Project Eric Eversole, bureaucracy combined with a long list of excuses inside the Pentagon has resulted in a record number of absentee military ballots not being requested or fulfilled. This election cycle is similar to what happened in 2008 when a record number of absentee ballots were never sent out to military voters or were sent out after the deadline to vote.

In 2008, for example, less than 20 percent of 2.5 million military voters were able to request and return their absentee ballots.  Our report from the 2010 election showed a significant decrease in military voter participation.  In that election, only 5 percent of military voters were able to successfully vote by absentee ballot.

They have always suppressed the military vote but this year is astounding.

Of course it’s deliberate; have you seen the director of the federal voting assistance program? Any questions?

There is no way the military is not interested in voting.

Those wimps at the Pentagon need to defend these people and their families.

No one else is going to do it.

Of course. Obamugabe wants the military men and women to be disenfranchised. He knows they think he sucks.

“Those wimps at the Pentagon need to defend these people and their families.”

REMFs have never been keen on supporting combat troops.

if i’m in the military, i can get shipped thousands of miles away from home... get shot at... wounded or worse... yet i cannot cast a vote for the one whose orders i should follow

meanwhile, if i were in the US illegally, not only would i not get tossed back to the third world cesspool that spawned me... i also get to vote... for the guy that will give me more stuff... numerous times... without anyone checking my id once

yea...
