Neither of my parents ever wore glasses. Daddy died at age 90 and Mother at 86. They always had a pot of coffee on, at least during the daytime. When they got up in the morning, the first thing they did was start the coffee.

I know two examples aren’t statistically significant but I still doubt that study.

I’m curious how many in that study use a computer. I’d think staring at a screen for many hours would cause eye problems faster than a pot of coffee would.

BTW, they never mentioned the size of the cup o’ joe.

I’ll have a glass of wine instead.

My Father always drinks black coffee. I asked him about it one time, and he told me he started drinking coffee when he was 6. It was during the depression, and even if they didn't have any milk, my Grandmother always had Coffee for my Grandfather every morning. When my father got up, he would put saltines in black coffee and eat that for breakfast.

By the way, Dad’s in his late 80’s and still has vision like a hawk.
