RE: new poll: PA two-point race)

What’s the D/R/I sampling breakdown of this new poll?

I think PA pollsters intentionally show race as close. Objectives are to make more money plus media gets revenue through ads.

If the voters break for Romney nationally over the next two weeks, PA will go Republican. But PA would be following the trend in that situation. If the race remains close, PA, sadly, will stay in the Dem column as it has in past elections. The only wild card is the “war on coal.” If that gets pounded home in PA coal country, which traditionally is Dem, perhaps Romney could claw out a victory in a close race.

Here in central PA, I lost a friend the other day. He’s 90 and we’re neighbors. Always respected his common sense and wisdom. No, he didn’t die. We got into a discussion of politics.
He has swallowed the liberal, populist line completely. Says Romney is a rich man who doesn’t care about people and he ships jobs overseas. Obama couldn’t do anything to fix the Bush-fault economy because of Republican opposition.
We went at it some half an hour, I didn’t make a dent. In a WW2 vet who hates slackers, moochers, gay activism, and the sorry state of education these days, I didn’t make a dent.
Goes without saying he gets all his information from tv and the local fishwrap. I pointed that out too. No use.
Don’t even get me started on all the kids who were 14, 15, 16 and 17 in 2008. A whole new batch of PA voters fresh out of public skool.
Romney may win but it will be no thanks to PA.

Wouldn’t waste too many resources on PA. More likely wins from Wisconsin, Colorado, Nevada, and New Hampshire.
