yep, and it was because of Bush’s oil buddies making windfall profits, as I remember. Now, crickets!!
Very true. I’ve also seen interesting hubbub on conservative groups offering gas for the prior price of roughly $2/gallon and making up the difference, getting long lines of people desperate for $30-80 savings on gas.
