They may or may not holiday together - separate family lines, and all.
And if they occasionally do, think they’re civil to each other.
I may remember someone saying Colmes is a nice person off the air - - -
The two of them mentioned during an O’Reilly appearance that they are together on most holidays.
As for whether it’s awkward, think of it this way:
If they can put politics aside for a day or two, no problem.
If they can’t, who enjoys arguing about politics more than Alan Colmes and Monica Crowley?
It’s a win either way.
