Two things to bear in mind:

We don't know fer shure what armed assets were available over Benghazi that night.

We don't know fer shure if anyone was 'painting' anyone with laser designators.

I'm uncomfortable when the story gets way out in advance of the facts we know and have nailed down.

Just don't want to be embarrassed.

At that point, they called again for military support and help because they were taking fire at the CIA safe house, or annex. The request was denied. There were no communications problems at the annex, according those present at the compound. The team was in constant radio contact with their headquarters. In fact, at least one member of the team was on the roof of the annex manning a heavy machine gun when mortars were fired at the CIA compound. The security officer had a laser on the target that was firing and repeatedly requested back-up support from a Spectre gunship, which is commonly used by U.S. Special Operations forces to provide support to Special Operations teams on the ground involved in

We do know that that we had radio communication from the scene. We know that help was requested and denied. The denial did not come from The CIA or State. The fight lasted at least four hours. We know that our armed forces were not on heightened alert on 9/11 in spite of intel suggesting increased risk. Even still, we know that there was at least an AC-130 gunship 480 miles away.

Where do you want the “facts” to come from before you are a believer? There is testimony of the laser targeting from someone who should know something about how and why it is done.

Are you waiting for confirmation from the white House before you become convinced?
