The Japanese fellow? How old is he? If he's got that kind of cash lying around he's probably twice her age. She'd be an idiot to accept a proposal.... unless she is willing to forever be labeled a "Woman Who Married For Money" -- which is just another fancy name for "Prostitute".
If he's in his 20's and a nice guy, maybe she'll think about it. That's her business.
But really, this is not any way to meet a future life-mate.
