It’s great to know. Thanks. Now, hopefully WI and NH (or WI and IA) give us the reliefs too!
“I also just dont get why either party would take stock in early voting numbers. “
Simply looking for trend differentials in party voting between 2008 vs. 2012, i.e., if there has been a shift in “enthusiasm”, which would appear to be the case in Colorado right now, which is appears to be REALLY bad news for Obama in Colorado. Yeeaaaa, way to go so far for my adopted state!
This is such a helpful explanation; thank you!
I’m not a registered Republican, so no one has contacted me about turnout (or about polling, either!). That must be why I’m out of the loop as to the “why” of early voting.
Over the last few days I’ve been tempted to go cast my vote early, but it’s just not the same as standing in line on Election Day. This will be the first presidential vote I’ve ever cast that will matter. (I lived in Baltimore before moving to Denver last year.) I can’t wait to hear that Romney has captured Colorado and has won the presidency!
I know exactly how you feel! Wisconsin has unfortunately been blue for so long, it’s great to think that my vote just might make a difference this time!!
Laura Ingraham posted this really interesting tidbit on her blog, on the Obama ground game myth.
