CBS Busts Obama and Itself in Benghazi Cover-Up
Breitbart ^

Posted on 10/28/2012 9:45:29 PM PDT by XXXoholic

CBS News has released a clip of an interview by Steve Kroft of 60 Minutes on Sep. 12 with President Barack Obama that indicates Obama knew the assault on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi, Libya was a premeditated terror attack--and suggests the White House later deceived the public by blaming protests against an anti-Islam video. CBS chose not to air the clip for over a month--but did air Obama’s attack on Romney that same night.

Obama told Kroft that the attack in Benghazi was different from the violent protest at the U.S. embassy in Cairo: "You're right that this is not a situation that was exactly the same as what happened in Egypt, and my suspicion is, is that there are folks involved in this who were looking to target Americans from the start."

Why the ads? Why six mentions of the video at the UN?

7 point favorability drop in a week over this.

I find his matter-of-fact show you a white blackbird forget what I SAID YESTERDAY crap very tiresome.

What we said all along , very clearly, make no mistake about it, is that there were some folks (not bloods) who had a beef with us and happened to point rpgs at our embassy and start blastin’ caps but we weren’t quite sure what was goin’ down so we told the operators to hold off until we got back from Vegas but they didn’t and it all blew up. Straight up. Word.

CBS News and the others are all part of the DNC, no doubt about it.
Notice how they cover up his mistakes

if the msm over this libya qttqck was regarded the same way the nixon white house was, the entire msm would be impeached and removed from their damn jobs. the complicit cover-up is incredibly massive.

I did get an answer to one question tonight from Brett’s special program on Fox. It was looters who found Ambassador Stevens in the mission house, unconscious but still breathing, afterwhich they yelled “God is great” and dropped him off at the hospital with his cell phone. He died there 45 mins later. I couldn’t understand whether it was friend or fo who found him from those awful pictures that were published.

I don't know if there is more than one hospital in Benghazi but one of them was occupied by the very group that attacked the embassy, Ansar al Shariah, and was used as their base.

So if he was dropped off at that hospital he was put right into the hands of the terrorists by the "looters."

Another thing weird about the "looters" explanation is that the embassy and annex took an assualt from some 150 people with small arms, mortars and rpgs, some 60-70 of whom met their demise under fire from our guys and we're supposed to believe the "looters" decided to emerge from safety and run toards all of that, then wade into the line of fire of either the terrorists or our guys - soon enough during or after the battle to find the ambassador still barely alive?

Those're some bold "looters" there.

Even the protests and attack in Cairo weren't about that stupid 'video.'

Brian Lilley: The MSM is lying about the muslim riots
Interviews on the streets of Cairo. 'Video' had nothing to do with protests and attack.

Sean Smith could not find Stevens in the mission house before he himself died. Stevens spent a LOT of time breathing hot dorsal fumes and smoke, maybe hours, maybe not, but oh my, life threatening in the best of circumstances.

I thought about who would bother to take him to the hospital, unless it was late Libyan rescuers, or the enemy who did not mean for him to be harmed, but kidnapped perhaps. The administration stayed mum, yet they knew the hospital used Stevens cell phone numbers to try to make contact with his last calls, likely to Tripoli.

The attack on the first compound only lasted about an hour until Ty Woods and his men rescued the five survivors and took them to the annex compound. The attackers were dispersed by Ty Woods and the people he brought.

The annex came under fire almost immediately after they got back there. I don't think any mortar rounds were fired on the first compound and most of the fighting happened at the second. That's probably where most, if not all, the jihadis were killed.

I think it was about three hours before Stevens body was found. The flames and smoke were long gone by then so I'm sure the attackers were too. I think of how awful it was to be sick from smoke inhalation for three hours before he died.

Just one or two inhalations of some burning vegetable oil will give you a royal headache, nausea and make you short of breath for a day or two. Smoke from burning building and furniture has got to be a lot worse.

I remain flummoxed over the purpose of our come and go presence in Benghazi at all. It was becoming all risk and no reward, from the British point of view, so, what possible reward did we have in mind that couldn’t be had in Tripoli?

I suppose this is where the suspicion of us storing and moving weapons around from that reportedly top secret annex a mile away comes in.

If rumors are true that is just as big a story as what went down there the night the Ambassador died.

I do not think America had any reward that could be gained from what went on there and possibly one or 2 agencies warning about it that were later scrubbed. Now an islamist in the White House has done much for the islamic world agenda with the games that have been going on.

That does not mesh with the torture and rape rumors. Rumors other embassies had just a few days later from talking to those on the ground.

Rumors often don't mesh with the facts. That rumor only had one original source, a Libyan newspaper that quoted anonymous people on the streets of Benghazi, and no other news source has ever repeated it. Those anonymous people on the street never said anything about torture and rape either. The exact quote was "he (Stevens) was treated like Gadaffi." Which people who read that interpreted to mean he was sodomized like Gadaffi was with a knife while he was alive.

But it is a fact that Stevens was locked behind the bars of the safe room while the building burned and neither his companions nor Ty Woods' team could find him. It is a fact that he wasn't found until about three hours after the attack first began which would have been about two hours after Ty Woods team came and left with the survivors and Sean Smith's body. It is a fact that the crowd that found him took him to the hospital. It is a fact that a doctor tried to revive him. It is a fact that the crowd who took him to the hospital used Stevens' phone to try to find out who he was and reached the State Dept. Whether in Tripoli or DC I don't recall.
