My son is in the Navy and on the ground in SW Asia. He is at the beginning of his deployment. The Libya thing is a big, big deal for me. The lack of integrity and basic competence displayed by the Obama Administration is outrageous. Fuzzy thinking, unclear missions and weak leadership gets people killed unnecessarily. Time for Obama to get out of the way.

One of the SEALS brought up the question/point that I've been wondering about. If they don't get their absentee ballots, what difference does it make if they say they aren't voting for Obama? The other branches of the military say about 85% of them are not voting for Obama, but the soldiers, sailors, & Marines are not getting their absentee ballots in time if at all. A news segment last night out of West Palm Beach told of a Marine and his wife, who have been trying to get their ballots since August, haven't received them even after repeated written and phoned requests. This is not a new problem (remember the 4 page memo on how to disqualify the military vote in the 2000 election?), but I think the military is more irate than they have been in the past - certainly more vocal.
